The Joutel Project is located in the Joutel mining camp, in the central portion of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, approximately 150 kilometres north-northwest of Val d’Or and 5 kilometres southeast of the past producing Poirier Base Metal Mine. The project is accessible by highway from Amos or La Sarre and along recent active logging roads. The Joutel Project consists of 6 claims covering 336.5 hectares and are situated in Poirier Township.

The primary target for the summer 2018 exploration program is an untested VTEM anomaly, discovered in a 2011 VTEM survey by Bold Ventures Inc.

Previous drilling at similar anomalies on the property to the west – ten holes in total – has yielded values in core of up to 0.83% Ni over 3.7m, 17.42gpt Ag (DDH # 4) and 1.03gpt Au, 5.83gpt Ag, 1.19% Zn & 0.46% Cu over 0.15m (DDH # 1-71).

Drill core lithologies include fragmental rhyolites, sodium-depleted, potassium enriched dacite and basalt, and sodium depleted pyroxenite, with hydrothermal alteration and carbonate present. A 43-metre-long cored interval of pyroxenite was reported in Noranda DDH # 4.
